1 out of 5 stars dishonest sellers- don't refund any money   August 29, 2010

Never got one issue- tried to cancel my order and it has been 5 months- nobody writes back
They take your money and never send!

3 out of 5 stars Ok!   August 28, 2010

It's an ok magazine. It was a good price when I purchased it. It does take a long time for the 1st magazine to arrive.

1 out of 5 stars Never Received   August 17, 2010
BEBE (Upstate New York)
I ordered this item back in June and waited patiently for the subscription to begin but I began to question its validity finally in August so I contacted Hearst magazines to see what the delay could be. When I finally heard back from Hearst, I was told that my name and order were NOT in their database!! Ridiculous since I ordered from Amazon and all my info was available through Amazon at any time.
Have now placed a CANCEL order on the item but after two weeks, it is 'still
processing'---very disappointing service.

1 out of 5 stars company handling subscript signed me up for 6 more w/o permission   August 6, 2010
bunnylady (Augusta, GA USA)
The company handling the O magazine subscription for Amazon has been harrassing me for weeks to take more magazines. First they called to tell me they wanted to refund some sort of an overcharge. When I would not give them more information they briefly stopped calling. Then they started calling saying they were doing a survey about whether or not I was receiving my magazines. Called themselves just "reader services" and the phone number comes up as "private number" on the phone. They called at least 4 times some days. They would threaten to turn over charges (what charges?) to collections. Finally they got my husband and he told the to turn them to collections since he knew we had not ordered anything else other than O magazine in Dec 09 (paid for long ago). Then 2 days later I get a notice from Amazon that there are 6 more magazines being ordered in my name! I did not order any of them! And I cannot find a customer service number for Amazon to tell them I do not want any more magazines from them ...EVER

4 out of 5 stars LIKE IT BUT DO NOT LOVE IT   August 1, 2010
N. Vogrin (BETHLEHEM, PA. United States)
I have been a fan of Oprah's for 15 years and I am a faithful follower of her show. I have received the Oprah magazine for about 7 months and I thought I would just love it to pieces but I do not. I like it and I read some of the articles, such as Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil and Suze Orman and an occasional article but the magazine does not keep my interest as other magazines do. There are so so many advertisements, it is like every other page, full page large advertisements. I know you need advertisements to fund the magazine but there are so many and they are so distracting. I seem to be hunting for the next article through pages of advertisements. I did purchase the magazine when it was for 5.00 and I started receiving the magazine about two months later. I also purchased it for my sister and she received it in about the same time also, she also agrees with me on the magazine and all the advertisements. She says it is okay but she would not renew it, unless I get another 5.00 deal I probably will not either.
