There are a lot of magazines that come through my office (a green building consulting firm). SIJ is the only one that has in-depth, meaningful articles in every section by industry. I even do a second read-through just to look at the ads. You won't find tired ideas (change your light bulbs!) or clichés (Go Green!). SIJ is the best way I know to keep current on what is really cutting edge in sustainable business.

With a growing list of environmental catastrophes cascading around us, I can't imagine a more valuable journal than "Sustainable Industries." I just received my third issue, and I couldn't be more pleased with its presentation and the information it provides. Even the advertisments are interesting.
All facets of the emerging sustainability movement in business are covered - conservation, efficiency, alternative energy, green building, and other fields that not only benefit ecosystems; but also are proving to enhance profits. "Sustainable Industries" also provides ideas as to what sort of green investments a person may want to add to their portfolios. It seems we're on the ground floor of the next industrial revolution, let's work to ensure it moves forward with the speed that's needed to ensure a viable planet for future generations.
