 Problwm with Elite publisher September 5, 2010

This may or may not have been a scam, but my grandchild, for whom I purchased the subscription, received duplicate issues within a day apart. Coincidentally as I was about to contact amazon I received a call from Elite publishing house. It was difficult to get them to commit to being Amazon's contact for these subscriptions. They wanted me to lock in my subscriptions for 3 years at a better price. It was tempting, but I had to wait for a call back from someone else who was suppossedly bonded and had another sales pitch. It was time consuming and annoying and I finally told them that I didn't want anything other than my original purchase and to stop the duplication. Now I truly do not know if they were a valid vendor or not. Can Amazon clarify this?

Last year, I waited for months to get the best deal on Nylon Mag when Christmas time rolled around. Now, as my subscription is running out, I stubble across this gem from Amazon (a full year for $10). The best deal Nylon Mag offers all year is the exact same price as Amazon offers year round! This find has definately insured that I will always check Amazon before buying something from the primary supplier. Their deals are incredible.

alright so i ordered nylon in may and i got my first issue in july and it was fine and everything but then they totally shipped my august issue and i didnt get it and now i just recieved my issue for september and it is totally thrashed, so i dont know what the deal is but i am pissed that they skipped august and i am not liking this so far.

The Truth about NYLON MAG is this...it is amazing! Not kidding. I am not trying to sing praises. I used to be one those girls who subscribed to 3-5 different magazines, and the truth is I hated them all. I only got them because each one did ONE thing I liked. Then one day I said to myself "I am bleeding through MONEY" so I, in a purge to ride my self from wast, got ride of them all!
Then this girl, who had one of the most original personalities (and a sense of style to go along with it), told me about NYLON. I had been BURNED servilely in the past so I said "yeah right." In an effort not to be prejudice I went on [...] and subscribed for a free Magazine.
From the moment I felt it in my hands I was in love. Finally girls, I had found the one...I guess it is true what they say about lady bugs;)
However the story does not end so fairytale like, as most happilyeverafters. when the economy went down so did I. There I said it. So I had to downsize, I maturely canceled the subscription and tried to think of the day when I would see NYLON again.
Well that day has come!
This is not just a fashion magazine were hopeful girls try to look pretty and how to look pleasing to others. This magazine is filled with culture, differences in opinion on how to dress and act. Different view of pretty and how to look the way you want to. It gives new ideas on music and show and the like. It may make a diet suggestion here or there, but it does not feed into the mass media's perception of "thin is in". There will be no stupid ridiculous workout that you will never try in this mag, because that is how amazing it really is!
